House Five is located on Kabula Hill, Blantyre, in a stunningly beautiful environment, with magnificent views and much history. House Five has been named after another house build by the owners great grand-father in 1906 in Thyolo, Malawi's tea estate district. House Five is a 10 minute walk into Blantyre's CBD thus very convenient for business people as well as for tourists. The setting and environment is peaceful and quiet despite it being so close to the busy CBD.
Ilaria and her mother Flavia, will make you very welcome in true Italian style. The lodge has a small kitchen offering delicious Italian meals, currently only catering for overnight guests. It will soon open to the public as a full restaurant.

House Five boasts beautifully furnished rooms, large and spacious, with king size or three quarter size beds; all rooms are en-suite with large airy showers and are equipped with fan, safe, cupboard, kettle, tea/coffee, wireless internet and satellite television (DSTV). At the back of the lodge, on an outside terrace overlooking a crystal clear swimming pool, is a rustic Italian bench and table where good coffee or meals can be taken. Inside the main building a very comfortable sitting room with its fire place and satellite television and a small cozy dinning room are also available during the colder months.
